Obligatory Intro Post

This is my attempt at the current rage that is Project 365.  The idea being to take (and publish) one photo a day for an entire year.  I assume most people attempting this project actually take several pictures each day and choose one to publish.

I chose 2010 as a starting point for this project as I turn 40 on January 5, 2010.  A milestone year worth recording and remembering (I hope).

Pictures will most likely be taken with my primary camera, a Sony Alpha A200 purchased in the summer of 09 just before a trip to the west coast of the US.  I'm still learning the camera and hoping for more lenses for it! My father's old Minolta auto-focus zoom lens is compatible with the Sony mount but it doesn't seem to work quite the way I need to.  I suspect I need an external flash as well.

I may also take pictures with my Palm Pre as I've found it takes decent pictures for a phone (and even has a built in flash!) and I'm much more likely to have the phone with me than the larger Sony.
